Beneteau Oceanis 423 Clipper from 2006 equipped for Blue-Water crusing

Dreaming of bluewater sailing? Then keep reading.
"Notorious" a Beneteau Oceanis 423 Clipper has returned to Denmark after a one year round trip to the Caribbean. The yacht was purchased with the round trip in mind, and she is fully equipped and ready to continue her journey to almost anywhere you like. The owners would prefer to continue however unfortunately now need to go ashore. Second owner selling.

She is a French built Beneteau 423 Oceanis Clipper from 2006, and has very good sailing qualities for both coastal sailing as well as Blue Water sailing. She has just completed her Atlantic circumnavigation and is ready for more!

This is a solid boat with great sailing characteristics, generous living space below decks, with good headroom. She is constructed with fiberglass sandwich laminate, and there’s plenty of it — this boat comes from an era when materials were not spared. It has a short keel with the deep draught option (2.1m instead of 1.7m) and spade rudder, offering great maneuverability without compromising stability. Below deck, there are three cabins, six berths, and two heads both with showers.

The engine is a Yanmar 4JH-4E 55 hp with approximately 2400 hours when you become the next owner. The engine and engine room has been meticulously maintained and cleaned. Spare parts are plenty for almost all types of service for the engine. All services have been kept up to date, and in 2024 the engine was professionally inspected by a Yanmar mechanic.

The standing rigging and the headsail furler have been replaced by a professional company in April 2025, not because there were any issues, but rather to avoid them appearing before returning home.

Through hulls, fittings and hoses /hose clamps were replaced throughout the boat in 2024. The new through hulls are of marine Bronze from Guidi.

The bow platform has been reinforced by a professional stainless steel welder in 2024. The rudder was serviced with a new bearing in 2024. The Keel bolts were taken out one by one, cleaned and rebedded to correct torque in 2024. The Keel was resealed to the hull with new bedding compound and consequently by epoxy primer in 2024. None of this was done as a reaction to issues, but rather as a preventive maintenance.

Electronics have been upgraded with new batteries for house bank (560 Ah), new battery for engine starting, new battery for bowthruster/windlass, extra solar panels, and she has a wind generator for complete off-grid capabilities (seller only had shorepower once during their 5 months in the Caribbean), new Raymarine Axiom9+ plotter with charts for NW Europe, Denmark, Africa and America (including Caribbean), Raymarine Doppler 2 radar from 2024, an optional Schenker Zen50 water maker from 2024 and many other things. Please see the equipment list for a detailed overview of all equipment onboard.
