Olle Enderlein Havsörn 35

Havsörn 35 MK2. Wonderful first owner built mahogany on oak in almost mint condition. Well equipped and updated with modern rigging and newer engine.

Havsorn 35 MK2 designed by Olle Enderlein in 1970 and built in Mahogany on oak with lovely teak decks and teak coach roof. Hull built at Frederiksværk Boatyard and finished at Molich Boatyard in Hundested. Built by her present owner who is a boatbuilder and the owner of a well known boatyard for more than 35 years.

This boat has been built and now updated to modern standards however kept in the traditional boatbuilder style for wooden boats with the utmost attention to any tiny detail. Nothing has been spared to ensure a solid construction and a safe boat. The cockpit has been built around a fibre glass box ensuring full watertight cockpit with drains to the sea. All deck equipment is built with safety in mind including overdimensioned stainless steel fittings and block fastenings.

The rigging is a fully modern rig with masthead aluminum mast and a Harken furler from 2006. The original engine has been swapped for a modern Volvo Penta MD 2003 from 1999 with an estimated only 700 hours on the clock. A new 3 blade Maxprop was added in 2002. A bowthruster was further added in 2003 for easy port handling.

Below decks you will find a spacious cabin with a large pantry to starboard with a gas stove and oven and a large fridge which can be separated to a fridge and freezer. To port you find a pilot berth with a sliding charttable on top. The saloon is large with plenty of room for a large crew to dine. Forward of the saloon you will find the toilet to starboard and a large double locker to port. Forward a large v-berth and amble stowage space in drawers and underneath the berths.

The cockpit holds a number of spacious lockers. A full cockpit cover with windows comes with the boat, which further increase the space on colder days in port.

Present owner has kept the boat inside or in a tent every winter its entire life. A purpose built cradle is available, should someone wish to ship the boat overseas. He now goes ashore, and is keen to find a byer who will appreciate owning and tendering such a unique boat.
