Nauticat 39

Nauticat 39, a deck saloon sailboat designed for trips anywhere. A sailboat built in the high Nauitcat quality. This boat from 1995 has been used as it should, and updated continuously.

Nauticat 39 is a sailboat from long-established Siltala Yachts. This is a very solidly built boat that is excellent for longer trips at sea in all seasons. The deck salon, with an inner steering position, allows you to drive the boat even in the protection of the salon. The deck salon also provides a lot of visibility in all directions when moored or at anchor.

Down in the boat there is a front and an aft cabin, both with double berths, the owner's cabin in the stern also has its own bathroom. In addition to these two cabins, there is an extra cabin under the deck saloon, a spacious galley in the center of the boat, and a bathroom that is shared between the two forward cabins. Both bathrooms have mosaic tiles on the floor. Not bad for a 39-footer!

The cockpit is protected, with all sail handling close at hand. The swim platform in the stern makes it easier both when going for a swim, as well as when the crew has to get in and out of the dinghy.

The boat has good sailing characteristics, and feels safe at sea. The sailing characteristics are perhaps a little surprising to anyone who associated Nauticat with ketch-rigged motor sailors. Nauticat has followed this up with several other deck saloon sailboats, including, but not limited to, the Nauticat 385.

This Nauticat 39 has been in the same ownership for a long time. The boat has been used for wonderful trips in Northern Europe and has been maintained and updated on an ongoing basis.
