Robust hull, well-designed cockpit with double steering wheels and functional deck layout give the helmsman a good overview. The 39DS has a capacity for 8 knots under sail and 7 under engine, which with a straight shaft provides fine maneuverability and where a good bow thruster helps when mooring.

Interiorly, the 39DS is designed to offer a bright and spacious environment for its size class. Instead of haggling over the surfaces and squeezing in 3 cabins, the designers Lombard/Garroni have designed a boat with plenty of air both in the forward cabin, as well as in the large aft cabin with double berth and generous wardrobe. A generously designed toilet/bathroom with door to a well-appointed, substantial storage space that is almost like its own cabin. In front of the L-shaped galley is a large salon with a U-shaped sofa on the port side and fixed seats opposite. The sofa in the salon is a bed and can be converted into a comfortable double berth. It is clear that the raised roof creates a feeling of great space and light in the salon and galley. A place for comfortable socializing.
