Hallberg Rassy 312 MKII

Hallberg Rassy 312 MKII from 1990 with loads of upgrades and a Yanmar engine with only 320 hours on the clock. Prepared for long distance sailing.

Hallberg Rassy 312 MKII in very good condition. It was a challenge for Hallberg Rassy to find the replacement for the HR 31 Monsoon, but the master duo Christoph Rassy and Olle Enderlein created this spacious very seaworthy and very popular 31 foot boat, which since in 1986 came in this MKII version   where windows in the scroving were moved up to the superstructure, the toilet turned into a separate room and by moving the entire superstructure slightly aft, a larger pantry and space was created at the card stall and bunk. A total of 690 units of this popular boat were built in the years 1979-1993.


Thescro vet was made of fiberglass reinforced plastic with both longitudinal and transverse reinforcements that make the boat stiff and strong. The semi-flat deck and raised freeboard made the HR-312 considerably more spacious than the boats of the time of the same size.  For example, the MKI version has 1.83 m headroom and MKII a whopping 1.85 m of standing height below deck.

This boat has been thoroughly updated bysi ne past and present owners with, among other things , full insulation of hull for winter and summer sailing, Targa bow over sprayhood, Selden rig with retrofitted furler with all lines lead to the cockpit, bowthruster, new instrumentis in 2021, new Yanmar 3YM30 engine and new saildrive in 2012 and much more.
