Dragonfly 28 Sport from 2012 with brand new engine

Dragonfly 28 Sport from 2012 with an all-new 15 HP Mercury with 0 hours. Installed in January 2025.

Dragonfly 28 is a quality boat from Quornings Boats in Denmark. The shipyard has been building trimarans since the early 1980s.

Dragonfly boats are light performance boats with good living comfort. Dragonfly 28 was first launched back in 2009 and has become a huge success with over 200 boats sold to customers all over the world. The shipyard has found a compromise between very good sailing performance and comfortable accommodation on board.
A Dragonfly is a boat that gives you lots of sailing fun and is just as suitable for family sailing as it is a racing machine for the more experienced sailor.

If you ask a multihull sailor about the advantages of this type of boat, the answers are many, but some answers clearly stand out. The performance/speed during sailing, that it does not heel much during sailing, and that the boat has a shallow draft with the rudder and centerboard up. You'll find your way into new bays and avoid crowding with others at the often-crowded anchorages, and then you can sail straight up onto a sandy beach, which is a great pleasure for the kids!

Below deck, you will be struck by both an airy and spacious saloon with its large dinner table. The whole crew will easily fit here, the children can build Lego, while the adults sail without things falling on the floor. The galley is divided into two parts with a module on the starboard side and a module on the port side just when you enter down into the boat.

On the port side there is a gas stove with two burners as well as good storage space in cupboards and shelves. On the starboard side you have a sink as well as additional storage in cabinets and shelves - Everything a family needs! This boat also has a large refrigerator of about 70 l.

Under the cockpit there is a large berth of 2m x 0.85m. The saloon has two full-length berths, one of which can be made wider. Further on there is a toilet with a septic tank and sink. Here too there is plenty of closet space.

In the bow there is a nice double berth of 2m length and 1.6m width at shoulder height.

The whole boat has good and ample storage space. But it is above deck that the boat comes really into its own.

A very spacious cockpit that is just as suitable for racing as it is for quiet cruising days with the family. In the cockpit there are two large storage compartments for ropes and other equipment. Under the lid of the starboard locker you find the controls for the engine. The engine is connected to the tiller, which means that the boat is easy to manoeuvre in port. The two large trampolines between the hulls are popular to stay on, and definitely the children's favorite with a built-in bouncy trampoline or just to lie down and enjoy it on a sunny day. All fittings are from well-known suppliers and are of high class.

This boat has a well-optimized sailing wardrobe for holiday sailing and racing. All sails are well maintained with, among other things, a new mainsail and jib from 2017.

The boat is largely self-sufficient in electricity with its solar panel and also has a means of charging using the engine. All sheets and running rigging have been continuously updated. The engine on this boat has just been changed to a new 15HP Mercuri. The boat has some traces of use, but is otherwise in a very good condition.

The first owner sells, as he now has to go ashore.
There is no road trailer for this boat however a marina trailer or stand for winter storage ashore.
