Pelle Petterson is known by most as a successful designer of sailboats, including the Maxi sailboats. However, Pelle has also designed the Cleopetra 34 Fly.
This Cleopetra is equipped with 2 Volvo Penta A41BDP engines, each 200 hp. with an hour count of approximately 1300. Both engines have had their turbos replaced. The cooling system has been refurbished, and both engines have had their cylinder heads removed and valves grounded. Both drives have also been renovated and have new duoprop propellers. There is a renovated generator and new diesel tanks.
Thus, the machinery is in good and well-maintained condition.
The layout is slightly different from many similar motorboats. In order to get as much living space as possible in connection with the steering position and the aft deck, the galley has been moved below. Here there is also access to the aft cabin with standing height, where there are two wide 1½-man beds. Midship there is also access to the fore cabin with 2 berths and some stowage space. In connection with the galley there is a u-sofa arrangement. There is a large toilet room with shower. The toilet is connected to a holding tank.
The galley is equipped with a large induction hob, fridge/freezer and a combination oven.
On the aft deck there is a u-sofa with two tables. There is access to the side decks and access to the flybridge. On the flybridge there are two sofas. One in a u-shape. There is full control over the machinery and navigation from the helm station.
The aft deck is well protected from wind and weather by a newer canopy that can be rolled up when the sun is shining.
On the foredeck there is good sunbathing space and safe access for guests when they need to moor.
