Amel 54

The Amel 54 is an elegant and exceptionally well-built long distance yacht with maximum comfort and the best possible characteristics at sea. A boat for the most discerning long distance sailor.

Chantiers Amel is a world-renowned French shipyard that builds uncompromising yachts for long-distance sailing to a very high quality and has been doing so since the 1960s. Amel is known for its ketches that take small crews on circumnavigations with stops in the most remote bays. Elegance and modern style, power and speed, safety and comfort are Amel's key words and are clearly reflected in the 54. 

Amel 54 is a beauty for the eye but at the same time filled with practical solutions that make life on board easy and safe. The cockpit has good access to all controls and winches. The mainsail, genoa and jib are comfortably unfurled and furled with the help of the electric winches on board. Below deck the volume and the elegant luxurious style are striking. The layout accommodates a forward cabin with its own toilet where the washing machine is located. The forward cabin has a double bed to port and a folding bunk bed to starboard. The forward cabin and saloon are separated by a watertight bulkhead. On the port side of the entrance hatch is the cleverly designed galley that allows cooking in any weather. The galley is equipped with a microwave and dishwasher. On the starboard side of the entrance hatch is the navigation area and aft of that is the passageway to the owner’s cabin in the stern, which is also separated by a watertight bulkhead. In the passageway to the aft cabin there is another berth above the lithium battery bank. The aft cabin also has its own toilet with shower. The interior is nicely designed and there are a lot of practical stowage spaces.
