Sailing yacht "Salamis" built by Tage Olsson at Saxemara boatyard located just west of Ronneby. The boat was built for the current owner and launched in the summer of 1981. 

It has always been a dream of many to own a yawl designed boat according to the RORC rule which was the prevailing harbour cruiser rule during the 50's and 60's. However, this one was built much later.

The boat is 12 m long and 3.20 m wide with a mahogany hull designed by Olle Olsson. 

The hull is made of mahogany except for the cockpit and the first four gangways next to the keel, which are made of larch wood. Stems and inner keel are oak. The ribs are laminated oak. The bottom stiles are made of stainless steel. Screws in the joining table next to the keel and spun are bronze. All other screws are acid-proof stainless steel. The ribs are riveted with copper nails, more than 3000 of them. The deck of the boat is teak, and the deck beams are larch. The interior is mahogany. 

There are two berths in the forepeak. Midships starboard and port two comfortable pullman berths, in the aft compartment one berth. Toilet between forepeak and saloon.

The mainmast (14 m) is built in Spruce, the mesa and booms in Oregonpine. All fittings in the mast and roundhouse are made by Göran Dahlström Karlshamn in mechanically polished stainless steel.

Raytheon radars, navigator and the boat's sailing instruments/autopilot can be connected to the boat's steering system. 

The boat's engine, which was replaced for the 2020 season, is a Volvo Penta 4 cyl D2 60. The previous engine was a Volvo Penta D 21. The engine change was carried out by MMG Marin Karlshamn who is authorized by Volvo Penta. 

New sailing wardrobe which is not much used. Previous wardrobe is still in good condition.
