Najad 400 is an excellent choice of boat for blue water cruising. Equipped with a cockpit-operated furling main and furling genoa, the boat is easy to handle even for the slightly smaller crew, extra inner forestay.
The boat is well equipped as it was one of Najad's exhibition boats in 2003, including Valuepack Comfort, Design and Navigation. All details can be found in the Equipment List below.
Electric windlass at the front mounted under deck and bow thruster means that the boat can be easily maneuvered even in the narrower harbor basins.
Large forward cabin with wardrobes, lockers and seating. Light entry via deck hatch and via salon window.
Spacious salon with bookshelves and cupboards along the sides of the hull.

In the longitudinal galley, plenty of stowage, and parallel to the galley the passage leads to an airy aft cabin with a large double berth, Queen size, very good storage spaces. Glass hatch in the ceiling provides a lovely light. Windows aft and in the sides of the hull.
Protective center cockpit, substantial height of the sides keeps the sea at a reasonable distance, equipped with a windshield, and there is also a specially built table that allows really large parties for social happenings.
Extremely well built with decks in hand laid sandwich laminate. Outer laminate in ISO polyester and surface layer of NGA gelcoat. Keel bolted with 12 16mm acid-proof bolts. Down built keel with longship and transom bottom logs. Reinforcements of the longship with stringers.
