The Malö 45 Classic n.6 is a rare, thoughtfully engineered Swedish cruiser from Orust that pairs a stiff, seakindly hull with a flexible, hand-finished interior and a cockpit arch that tames downwind chaos. Its limited production and unique options make her a first choice for the long-distance sailor who values strong build integrity and high quality finish.
Ordered in 1999 and first launched in April 2000, she is now sold by her second owner since 2020, after a first German ownership, the boat has been prepared and updated the past 5 years by professionals for long voyage. The blue color of the hull has been ordered by the first owner and a new paint has been done in 2013. The teak deck is in good condition, maintained every year. The center cockpit offer comfortable and safe sitting with its windshield in rougher weather. A 35kg Ultra anchor with 100m chain has been installed for safe anchoring in remote places.
While getting inside the boat, the remarkable wood work and joinery strikes you at first. The boat has 2 double cabins in the stern and a bow master cabin with separate bathroom and a wet-shower room.
