Jeanneau 49i is a very spacious yacht. This example has the owner’s layout, featuring three cabins and two toilets. Fully equipped and suitable for longer voyages at sea.

The Jeanneau 49i is a very spacious ‘almost’ 15-metre sailing yacht designed for sailing anywhere. This is a 49i in the owner’s layout, i.e. a large owner’s cabin in the bow with its own toilet and shower, as well as a separate vanity/work area. The layout is the tried-and-tested design with a galley running the length of the saloon, with seating around the table in the saloon, as well as twin cabins aft sharing a toilet and shower. With the hull volume that 15 metres provides, there is plenty of room to move about everywhere.

The cockpit is similarly very spacious, and the fixed table easily accommodates large groups for socialising and meals. The boat has twin steering wheels, making it easy to passage aft to the swim platform. The size and layout of the cockpit also make it ideal for keeping bathing and swimming behind the steering wheels, and as a result keeping the area around them more or less dry :).

This 49 is now being sold by its third owner, who has carried out a number of upgrades to a boat that was already well-equipped from the outset. The boat is equipped for, and has also been used for, longer trips at sea. This boat is for you if you consider spending longer periods at sea, perhaps sailing further afield, and varying the size of the crew according to mood and need.
