Bianca 420

If you are looking for a boat that can take you across the Atlantic, or a boat that accommodates a family in need of good space and good safe sailing abilities, this Bianca 420 is an obvious choice.

The Danish boatyard Bianca in Rudkøbing is known by most sailors across Europe. The boats are known for really good and well-executed boatbuilding craftsmanship and are appreciated by their owners. This Bianca 420 from 1992 is no exception. The boat has had the same owner all these years and has been winter-stored in its own hall since the late 1990s.

Externally, the boat is very nice, and the hull is very nicely polished. The teak deck still has a good thickness and is continually maintained with new plugs and caulking. There is a mainsail with lazy jacks and the genoa is on a furler, making sail handling easy. To further ease sail handling, a Selden electric winch was installed in 2022.

There are a total of 8 winches from 2 x 56'ers and downwards. Forward, there is a new (2022) electric windlass. There is a new (2019) Raymarine Axiom plotter and radar, as well as a newer Raymarine autopilot course computer. The sprayhood is from 2020 and there is also a cockpit tent, that allows for a good outdoor living space.

Under deck, the boat is also extremely well maintained. There are three cabins, each with 2 berths. One aft cabin is currently used for storing various equipment and a generator. There are two toilets, both with showers. The aft toilet was replaced with a Jabsco electric toilet in 2022. There is a holding tank aft. The forward toilet was also replaced in 2022, but is manual and without a holding tank.

The boat's salon is large and accommodates two sofas and a very large table that can be folded up on both sides. In the galley, the stove has been replaced and new refrigeration compressors, etc. were installed in the boat in 2023. Opposite the galley, there is a traditional chart table where a Raymarine C80 chartplotter and other navigation equipment can be found.

All in all, a Bianca that is continuously updated and ready for many new adventures on the seven seas!
