Welcome to Båtagent 2.0 

Welcome aboard our new website, fresh and ready to make life easier for everyone looking for a new boat. We have brought with us the experiences from over 2000 advertised boats on our old website and combined them with new technology and modern design – this is the result.

First, some history. Båtagent was founded in 2005 by Niklas Forsén, who sought the help of Niklas Karlsson (Klejm AB) to build Båtagent’s website. Karlsson was a high school student with an incredible drive and a great interest in coding, and he managed to build the website that became the hub of Båtagent’s success for many, many years to come. At its launch in 2005, the website was cutting-edge and packed with exciting features. With only a few updates, the website has stood the test of time until today, 18 years later!

Our new website, or let’s call it Båtagent 2.0 😊, has primarily received a new look, more modern and easier to navigate. But the fact that the website is also built with modern technology on a new platform enables new features that are now fundamental. Unlike the previous website, it is now fully optimized for mobile, and we can further develop the site without having to deal with old code.

We have kept all the features that have been appreciated by the hundreds of thousands of visitors over the years, such as the list of all sold boats where you can view pictures and read about over 1700 different boats. Additionally, we have added requested features such as filtering in the lists and a notification function.
