Saare 41 CC is a splendid centre cockpit blue water cruiser, conceived by the ex Finngulf team. The boat is clearly targeting the high-end cruiser market, competing with the best the Swedish island of Orust has to offer. This 41cc is a cruiser with all the extra bells and whistles, launched in 2010.
Saare 41 is the first model in a series of high-quality blue water cruisers, conceived and built by the ex Finngulf team. Karl-Johan (Kamu) Stråhlmann draw the lines of a quick and well-mannered hull and the boat was built in highest quality both as it relates to material and equipment as well as the craftmanship. The hull has a modern shape, resulting in a quick boat without sacrificing its sea-keeping abilities (see link too reviews below). A lot of smart solutions can be found onboard, a stylish as well as a functional yacht.
The interior, woodwork, deck (layout and equipment), and the stainless details, all is of the highest quality and of the proper dimensions. The yachts comes across as both elegant and timeliess. A very "proper" yacht.
Pretty much all sailhandling is done from the centre cockpit with the helmsman having access to most functions from his/her place at the wheel. A cockpit with a slightly bigger wheel than typically found at this kind of yacht, finding the best place to helm the boat is straight forward. In front of the cockpit, there is a windscreen, supporting the sprayhood and ensuring good forward visibility even in bad weather. The deck is safe with proper bulwarks.
Down below, there are two spacious cabins with ensuite heads with shower, the fwd one with a separate shower space behind a glass door. The galley is placed in the passage aft, and has double sinks close to the boats centre-line, and is equipped with pretty much all you can think of (see list of equipment). There is a proper navstation, and behind it there is a practical storage room.

This Saare 41 cc has a very long list of equipment, including the larger engine, VP D2-75, a generator, electric hob, electric fulex, furlin main, davits, extra tankage, espresso machine etc. (more details in the list of equipment). All is there to enjoy some coastal sailing as well as longer voyages across oceans and living aboard for longer periods.
The yacht has always been kept indoors in the winter time, basically living in its own comfortable heated house.
High-quality, high specification, great sailing charcteristics, if you uare considering a centre cockpit blue water cruiser in the 40-43 feet range, this is one not to miss.
