Hallberg-Rassy 34 has excellent sailing characteristics, thanks to its fine hull design and flexible fractional rig. The large cockpit (2.24 m) gives good space for efficient sailing, especially when all ropes and reefing lines can be controlled from the cockpit. The boat is both safe and fast, with good acceleration and stable balance in hard wind. The rudder feel ing is optimal and the sails has fine tuning possibilities. A perfect boat to sail for both cruising, club races and long eexplorations. The engine installation has good air supply and fine sound insulation.
