Hallberg-Rassy 42E, no 241 of a total of 255, built in 1991. This is a very elegant lady which has been superbly upgraded, among other things a new VP D2-75 in 2018. A superb long-distance cruiser from Rassy/Enderlein.

Hallberg-Rassy 42E is one of the beautiful flush-decked models from the pen of Olle Enderlein after ideas from Christoph Rassy regarding what of a sea-worthy cruiser needs to be.  The concept has really proven itself over the years, and even if each generation of Rassy-boats have embellished and enhanced the concept slightly, the basics remain the same. Proven, well-functioning cruiser that can take care of you on journeys both near and far. You are almost guarranteed  to see at tleast one Rassy-yacht in every harbour where cruisers meet as the journey the oceans of the world.

The Rassy-concept has over the years just gotten stronger and all the proven solutions and experience from years of use all over the world comes as part of the package once you board a Hallberg-Rassy. Impressive.

This Hallberg-Rassy 42E is no 241 out of a total of 255. She is a sloop model built in 1991. The yacht has always been carefully managed and maintained, and in its current ownership has seen many upgrades in 2017 and in 2018, among them a new Volvo-Penta D2-75 in 2018 ny battery-charger, a new isolation transformer, new led-lighting both inside and out, and new cock-pit canvas. The sails have not been used much, and were just serviced.

The forward septic-tank has had deck-evacuation added and the electronics have been in part updated, among the upgrades a completely new autoliotsystem.

A superb long-distance cruiser that is a dream if you are interested in a proper, sea-worthy yacht for long times at sea, noth near and far. She will always look after you in a great way. The open horizon, keen on exploring, and superb sea-worthy chractersitcs are all key aspect that come to mind.
