Rarely offered copy of the popular HR-42E. The boat is ketch rigged and with integrated doghouse (Hardtop with windshield). The boat is in original well-maintained condition. Engine and teak deck are renewed. The Hallberg-Rassy 42 (E) was built from 1980 until 1991 in 255 units. She is admired for her clean flush deck and numerous boats have sailed around the world. Hallberg-Rassy is one of the most respected builders in Europe and its reputation is reflected in the 42E’s construction. Build quality, both structurally and cosmetically, is very good. The hull is solid fiberglass stiffened with stringers and fully tabbed bulkheads; the deck is cored with PVC foam. The joint is glassed over, so the hull and deck together form a monocoque structure; the iron ballast is encapsulated within the long fin keel. A boat that also offers a spacious and well-arranged accommodation below deck, where the interior is made in the best craftsmanship quality. The boat is ready for new adventures with new owners.

The HR-42 is another good example of a Hallberg-Rassy, where good and stable sailing characteristics come together, along with a safe center cockpit a clean flush teak deck and a well-utilized interior design, with good comfort, and unobstructed passage below deck from one end of the boat to the other.
