Dufour 40

The Dufour 40 is known as a well-built boat and a good sailor, as many prominent placements on the racing courses have shown. At the same time, the Dufour 40 Performance is an incredibly good family boat. A boat the whole family will enjoy. 

Below deck, Duforvarvet has made optimum use of the boat's space. At the centre of the boat is a lovely saloon. Plenty of room for the whole family or friends.  Good storage in shelves and cupboards. On the port side there is a well-sized galley. Good with stove, double hooks, stove with oven and a good sized fridge. To starboard a navigation table and electrical panel and one of two toilets.


Aft of the boat two nice aft cabins. Good storage in wardrobe and shelves. In the bow a traditional forepeak and a toilet. Again with good storage. Bed mattresses in all cabins.
A good sized cockpit and all fittings from mast, engine to winches are of good quality and from well known manufacturers. The large steering wheel gives you full control of the boat in all situations. Relatively new sails ensure a good speed in the boat and a boat that eats distance minutes efficiently.
