Delta 40 SW

The Delta 40 SW from 2013, a well-planned, stylish family boat offering maximum comfort and low fuel consumption. A well-maintained specimen with plenty of equipment.

The Delta 40 SW was launched in 2011 as the successor to the best-selling 34 SW. The new 40 model has a long-awaited third cabin. The letters SW in the model name stand for Side Walk, a clever solution where the whole cab is shifted slightly towards the port side, allowing space for a covering board on the starboard side that is wide enough to provide easy access across the boat. You can easily get onto the covering board from the driver's seat through a sliding door. The boat is full of well-designed solutions. Another example is the Delta's unique step bottom which makes the hull unbelievably easy to drive at high speeds, contributing to low fuel consumption. 

The boat has a large aft deck and a spacious bathing platform at the far aft. When you step in through the sliding door, there is access down to the aft cabin on the port side and the longitudinal galley on the starboard side. There is also a spacious salon with a U-shaped sofa. Part of the sofa backrest can be folded back to create a passenger sofa. From the driver's seat there are good views at all angles. Downstairs from the salon is the fore cabin, a mid-ship cabin for two people, and a toilet with a shower. All the details are well made and the boat has a high finish throughout. A striking number of stowage areas have been created in cabinets, under flooring, etc.
