Arcona 38

Arcona 38 is a great sail boat with classic lines. Here you will find all that has made Arcona a success, great sailing with superb comfort in a boat of the highest quality.

Arcona 38 was the largest Arcona when she was released for the 1995 season. The Arcona 38 helped pave the way for Arcona's success with great cruiser/racers designed by Stefan Qviberg. The model delivers great sailing coupled with beautiful joinery and comfort down below. The cockpit is very well layed out for sailing,, however it also provides a nice area too relax once the sails are doused. There is ample stowage in the cickpit, including a dedicated propane locker.

This Arcona 38 is no 5, the last one built by the yard in Hunnebostrand on the Swedish west coast. The rig is mast head, by many considered the preferred option on the Arcona 38. The yacht is well cared for in both ownerships, always stored indoors during the winter months, and well updated with among other things, a new UK Carbon X-Drive main sail and modern navigation electronics from Garmin. Below decks you will find joinery work according to the high standrads of Swedish boatbuilding. There is a spacious aft cabin on the port side. Forward of the aft cabin there is awell appointed L-shaped galley with double sinks, stove with an oven, and hot and cold running water.  To starboard by the companionway, ther heads with a shower is located. In front of the heads is the nav station. The spacious saloon holds the full crew for comfortable dinners or relaxing at anchor. In the bow section you will find another cabin with a double berth as well cupboards and wardrobes. The boat has good stowage throughout. Arconas are built by people appreciate life onboard, and it shows.
