44 feet Aluminium Motor Yacht for long range cruising or as a live a board. Ready for the inland waterways, or as a residence for the one wishing a unique living place in the maritime environment.
This one off 44 fettt Aluminium Motoryacht has been designed by its original owner A.E. Haaning and engineered and built by Dan Olsen i 1975 i Sønderborg / Denmark. It was the intention, that this was to have gone into production, but this was the only one build.
The boat has classic motorboat lines ensuring comfortable movement at sea, she has safe and spacious deck- and aisles around the entire boat as well as a feel of space giving you a good impression of room and functionality in each of the three living areas, the main cabin/saloon, the sleeping compartment and in the pantry/galley with its own dining area.
You enter the main cabin via a door port side aft and you are met with a sense of space and light you rarely experience in a boat of this size. The present owners have changed the main cabin into one large room in which you have all possibilities to furnish it in any way you like, as a usual living room. In the port side you will find build in cabinets under the side decks and in the stb side you can either establish the same or alternatively establish an entire library wall. There are windows all around the saloon ensuring an impression of light and space while at the same time ensuring a wonderful view of the outside.
You enter the pantry/galley region from the aft of the saloon and once again you are met with an impression of space and light. Also here the present owners have created a generous room with a galley to the port and a small dining area to starboard. The centre position of a wood burner generates a feel of home and cosyness one should not expect of a boat like this. The Pantry is functional having a new ENO and a fridge installed.
From this area you also have access to the vessels toilet and bath.
Going forward from the saloon you enter down into the vessels sleeping compartment with two single berths that can be turned into to one double berth. The previous forward head has been turned into a small walk in closet.
The boat has three deck levels. An aft deck with plenty of space for outdoor dining and barbeque and direct entry to the bathing platform aft. On top of the saloon you will find the steering deck also having plenty of space and a steering position with a formidabel overview of both fore and aft. Forward is another deck space also holding the vessels anchor winch. There is amble space to walk safely around the boat on its beautiful teak decks that have been renewed around 2008 by its previous owners. The mast with its mounted Radar Dome can be lowered in order that the vessel can pass through Europe via the inland waterway.
The engine was rebuild in 1990 for freshwater cooling. It is a Perkins 120 HP freshwater cooled diesel engine. This engine runs very smoothly and easily supplies a comfortable cruising speed of 8 knots and a topspeed of around 18 knots.
This boat is quite unique and with its flexible design it will provide its future owner various options to live out a dream, that being long range cruising, sommerhouse, all year round living or a combination of it all.
The berth at Ishøj can be part of the deal under very reasonable conditions.
