Nauticat 38 is an incredibly well-constructed and solidly built classic ketch in the best materials. The Nauticat boats from the reputable Siltala shipyard are often referred to as the uncrowned queen of motor sailors.
Here you get a very spacious boat with a well-arranged interior that is centered around the large wheelhouse with 360-degree visibility and sliding door on both starboard and port side. In addition to the steering position, the wheelhouse is furnished with a corner sofa with a large table, where you can both stay while sailing and follow life in the harbor while the food is consumed.
If you go 2 steps down in the boat, you will meet large longitudinal pantry in port side and u-sofa arrangement and table on starboard side with room for 10 dining guests. In the front of the boat there is a closed cabin with double berth and access to toilet with shower.
If you go aft from the wheelhouse, you enter the large, closed master bedroom with double bunk and private toilet with shower.
Throughout the boat there are plenty of stowage rooms in the form of drawers and cabinets, all made of the finest matt lacquered teak.
On the raised aft deck behind the wheelhouse is the boat's second steer position with integrated cockpit benches on both the starboard and port sides as well as a removable cockpit table. On the stern of the boat there is a large teak covered stainless steel swimming platform equipped with shower with hot and cold water.
The powerful diesel engine ensures comfortable propulsion in all kinds of weather and is supported during port maneuver by an efficient bow thruster. Sailing by sail is helped comfortably by the electrically operated in mast furling mainsail and the furling genoa operated over the electric winches.
All in all, a boat that invites to long stays on board, and which is also suitable as a more permanent living boat.
