Hallberg-Rassy 36 was built between 1989 and 2003, and was an incredibly popular boat throughout the period, as no less than 602 hulls produced in total. And the HR-36 is today a highly popular boat in the aftermarket.
The great popularity is not least due to the Hallberg-Rassy brand, and the unrivalled quality that permeates all the boat models. HR-36 is from the period when the collaboration with the renowned Argentine designer Germán Frers was established, and it is reflected, in addition to a well-utilized interior design, with really good comfort, and unimpeded passage from one end of the boat to the other, also in surprisingly good sailing performance for this type of boat, where Frers has succeeded with a hull design that both have a good shape and volume, and at the same time has a moderate V sections result in a pleasant motion at sea normally found in larger yachts. That the boat has good sailing characteristics is a class victory in the Transatlantic ARC regatta a testament to.
This well-maintained boat, which is now offered for sale, has undergone several updates in recent years. Not least a new teak deck laid by professional boatbuilder in the winter of 2016/17. During the same shipyard visit, bow thruster and electric anchor winch and holding tank were installed. In 2021, new sprayhood, new toilet and new heater have been installed.
The accommodation, cushions and blankets appear nice and well maintained, and give the impression of a boat that is continuously looked after and cared for.
The boat is spacious and well-designed below deck. Good fore cabin with toilet and a salon with large salon table. Well decorated pantry with oven and fridge. Large navigation/map table area with direct access to spacious and private aft cabin.
A well-maintained classic boat ready for new adventures to be experienced.
