Moltedo 76 - Classic Motorsailer built in Mahogany in original style for liveaboard or classic cruising.

La Vita is a classic ketch rigged motor sailor built throughout in mahogany at Moltedo Shipyard in Santa Margharita Italy. The boat was specially built for a senior leader in the Olivetti Group and has since had four owners, with the current owner having carried out continuous thorough renovation of the boat back towards the original design.

She has all you need for a comfortable living both outside and inside. You will find plenty of space for outdoor life on her beautiful teak decks having a huge aft deck, wide sidewalks and a cosy foredeck area, all of which will enable you to find the perfect spot for a coffee, a sundowner or an outdoor dinner with family and friends.

La Vita is very bright and open above deck with a huge day salon in the immediate extension of the large wheelhouse and kitchenette.

The salon is the center of the ship, dining room and living room with panoramic views 360 degrees round. From here there is access to the large aft deck from where the ship is steered when sailing for sail. In port this is of course a fantastic veranda with amble space for resting or housing an outdoor party.

In front of the dayroom you will find the wheelhouse with a tea kitchen and entrance to the ship's owners cabin area with walk in closet / children's room and private toilet and bath. From the wheelhouse there is also an entrance below to the ship's pantry / kitchen and engine room.

Aft in the saloon there is access below to the ship's guest section with two separate bedrooms, each with its own toilet and shower compartment.

The full standing height walk in engine compartment is accessed via a door from the kitchen/pantry. Here you will find a small workshop space and plenty of stowage space for engine spare parts. Drains from all showers and toilets converge to a large holding tank.

In front of the wheelhouse is a huge front deck with sun space and a separate entry below to a smaller crew cabin with three berths. However, this area is currently used for storage of ropes, fenders etc.

A few years ago, the current owners had the ship at a shipyard in Gilleleje where the underwater hull was completely made over,  a completely new ice skinning was added and the ship's masts were completely scraped to the bare wood and freshly varnished according to all the rules of the art. The beautiful teak deck has been completely overhauled and is nearing completion. The boat is well insulated and current owners have lived on the boat on/off year round.

For personal reasons, owners now want to go ashore and are therefore looking for new owners who will take loving care of La Vita for years to come.
