A fantastic quality sailing boat. The Najad 520 is a unique boat in many ways and few people will ever have the chance to own one! The price is 3 350 000kr or highest bidder. The boat has been lavishly improved and renovated over the last few years.
If you are looking for a boat to explore the oceans of the world without compromising on comfort, safety and excellent sailing qualities - then this Najad 520 is the perfect choice whether you are sailing with family or crew. The whole boat exudes quality in materials and design, but above all, this Najad is associated with high standards of safety. Whether you're sailing offshore or around the world, you know that your Najad will always get you home safely through any conditions.
The Najad 520 was introduced in 1994 and manufactured by the Najad shipyard in Henån on Orust until 2000. The designer is Carl Beyer together with Najad. There are two main models that are adapted to each owners’ individual needs and wishes.
On board, right as you come down the stairs, you will find a spacious saloon. On the portside there is a long galley, that allows you to safely prepare food under any conditions. Towards the centre of the yacht there is a sink with double hooks, a washing machine and ample work surfaces and storage. On the opposite side of the aisle, you'll find a cool box, stove with oven and, at the far end of the aft cabin, a microwave.
Moving further through the galley aft you will find the entrance to the master bedroom/owners’ cabin with a large raised double berth in the centre. There are clever wardrobe solutions and storage areas, as well as an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. The two vents above the bunk face aft, providing lovely light and adding to the spacious feel. There is also a cosy armchair.
If you walk back through the galley and up to the spacious lounge, on the portside there is a cosy C-shaped sofa around a dining table that fits many people. Wall to wall with the salon on the portside, there is a cabin with a bed, wardrobe and a sofa corner. You will also find another bathroom with shower, basin and toilet very close by.
Back in the salon, on the opposite side of the sofa, there are two armchairs with a table between them, again with plenty of storage. The navigation table with its accompanying seat is close to the starboard companionway. Here your navigator can plan your route in peace and quiet and keep an eye on the weather and winds. Aft of the navigation station is a cabin, which in this version is fitted out as a workshop/workroom for material care. This is also the entrance to the engine room.
The boat is CE Class A
